A Study on the Death Orientation of College Student Nurses

Abstract

|
In this study, the death orientation of the college student nurses was investigated to develop ´hospice care program´ for the college student nurses. The survey was conducted for 200 students in Y college in Korea from March to June, 2001. Data analysis was carried out using SPSS win 8.0 package.
The results showed that mean score of death orientation was 2.55. The degree of death orientation showed that there were significant difference in religion. These findings showed that continuous hospice care program should be developed to positive orientation of student nurses.
